Sid Greenberg, LMSW, ACSWSid

Sid is a Master’s Level Social Worker with over 25 years experience, providing Individual and Couples Therapy. He primarily uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners harmonize their emotional styles, and to create healthy and positive attachment to one another. Sid completed an externship with Susan Johnson, PhD, EFT’s creator.

Sid also works with Individual clients, who are experiencing relationship and attachment difficulties, as well as anxiety and depression.

Sid specializes in helping people who are having difficulty in creating the relationship that they desire, including in sustaining healthy intimacy. Particularly when people have experienced parents who divorced, much fighting, one or both parents who were unavailable physically and/or emotionally, then they do not feel safe in emotionally attaching to their partner. They may do all sorts of subconscious maneuvers to avoid closeness. Sid helps the couple to create a sanctuary, in which emotional safety is paramount, healthy attachments are able to be risked and achieved, and the connection and closeness that most desire, is fostered.

Sid feels a calling to assist others in finding fulfillment, meaning, and joy in their lives

Sid is committed to help reduce suffering and to bring more love and compassion into the world, through facilitating a healing dialogue in the therapy relationship between himself and each individual, and between the two partners.

Sid is honored to aid you in your authentic process of discovery, growth, and awakening.
